It was successful weekend. First, we purchased half a paddle boat. Yes, half of one! My parents own the other half. So this means we can use it whenever we want since we paid for it! :) We are anxious to get it licensed so we can finally take it out!
It is a 5 seater with a canopy, cup holder, fishing pole holders, and a cooler. We are pretty excited for this. It will be a great workout and an easier way to fish besides on the shore or on a dock! We also purchased a larger pool for the backyard.
It is 10'x6'x22" and fits perfectly on our patio. We were originally going to buy one of those tall round ones with a pump, but we figured if we bought this one, Macyn would be able to stand up and wade without using her floatie. We are also able to sit in the pool with the water coming up to our chest. And this pool was 1/2 the price of the one we were looking at. Despite the water FREEZING, Macyn absolutely LOVES the pool. I think we will be spending a lot of time out there in the summer, and when it hits 99ยบ the next couple of days.

...and this is what happens. A not so happy girl in a wet dress running to Mommy. At least she didn't sit IN the pool with her clothes on!
